At the turn of the millennium it is clear that only the joint efforts of people from different countries can create a new system of relations in the world community — one that leads humanity toward creation and progress.
The idea of founding the international award PAX TECUM «Peacemaker» is rooted in the wish to strengthen international peacemaking traditions and to uphold humanism, tolerance and mercy.
Recent history should be filled not with devastating wars, but with achievements in the field of peacemaking!
WORLD CHARITABLE ALLIANCE PEACEMAKER
– a gathering of world-famous people and organisations who, using their international standing, join forces to support those in need in every corner of the planet;
– a voluntary union of people of different origins, faiths and professions, striving for spiritual self-improvement and contributing to the prosperity of the world;
– a people’s diplomacy platform and a non-political civic movement in the service of peacemaking progress and universal human values;
WORLD CHARITABLE ALLIANCE PEACEMAKER
At the beginning of the new millennium, stars of world cinema and sport, outstanding figures of science, culture and politics, business leaders and a number of international civic organisations came together to create the World Charitable Alliance Peacemaker.
Philanthropist Yuri Safronov was elected Secretary General of the Alliance.
The aim of the Peacemaker Alliance is to unite people of worldwide standing so that, using their international authority, they can jointly support those in need in every corner of the planet, and draw nations into the struggle against social injustice, wars and acts of terrorism.
Outstanding personalities of Russia, China, the United States, the European Union, Africa and Asia who have achieved worldwide recognition consider it their duty to set an example and to foster civilised interaction among people of different nationalities, religions and cultures in the modern world.

ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL PEACE FORUM
The annual international Peace Forum brings together, on one platform, outstanding personalities, public figures, politicians, distinguished actors of theatre and cinema, renowned musicians, business leaders, athletes and scholars — in order to build “bridges of friendship” that strengthen spiritual, cultural, economic and political ties among peoples.
Aims: • to involve representatives of different nations in civic and cultural programmes; • to unite all people of good will against social injustice, wars and acts of terrorism; • to reunite spiritual, aesthetic and moral values.
